Morgan Stanley Tribal Scholars Program
Application Deadlines: May 31, Annually
Morgan Stanley will award scholarships of $5,000 annually to outstanding American Indian students currently enrolled at a tribal college or university who have an interest in business and the financial services industry. Students are eligible to apply for the Morgan Stanley Tribal College Scholars Program if they: - Have at least a 3.0 grade point average.
Chickasaw Nation Higher Education Grants & Scholarships
Application Deadlines: Varies
Must be a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation and be enrolled in an accredited college/university to obtain an Associates, Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree. Higher Education Grant (All undergraduate students must apply for federal aid.) The grant may be awarded to undergraduate, graduate or doctoral students who maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher for each semester.
White Earth Scholarship Program
Application Deadlines: May 31, Annually
Student must be an enrolled member of the White Earth Band of Chippewa (descendents ineligible). Must attend an accredited post-secondary institution and must not have defaulted on any student loans. Applicant must complete the FAFSA and the White Earth Scholarship Program applications 8 weeks prior to beginning potential institution.
AAAE Foundation Scholarship for Native Americans
Application Deadlines: March 31, Annually
The AAAE Foundation grants $1,000 each year to a number of Native American college or university students with a junior class standing or higher, who are enrolled in an aviation program and have a grade point average 3.0 or higher. Eligibility is unrelated to membership in AAAE and the program is funded by a grant from the estate of Pete Hill, A.A.E.
Cherokee Nation Scholarship Program
Application Deadlines: May 31, Annually
The Cherokee Nation's Higher Education Office awards scholarships to selected Cherokee Nation Tribal Citizens pursuing degrees at a college or university accredited with Carnegie units. Eligibility Criteria: - Applicant must posses a Tribal Citizenship card showing citizenship in the Cherokee Nation.
Gates Millennium Scholars Program
Application Deadlines: January 15, Annually
The Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS), funded by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, was established in 1999 to provide outstanding African American, American Indian/Alaska Natives, Asian Pacific Islander Americans, and Hispanic American students with an opportunity to complete an undergraduate college education, in all discipline areas and a graduate education for those students.
Chickasaw Nation Clothing Grant
Application Deadlines: Varies
This grant may be awarded to full-time or part-time undergraduate, graduate or doctoral students enrolled in at least 6 college credit hours who maintain a 2.0 grade point average or higher for each semester. Full-time students may be awarded a $300 clothing scholarship for each classification as they progress through college.
AAIA Undergrad Scholarship
Application Deadlines: June 02, Annually
Association on American Indian Affairs (AAIA) Undergraduate Scholarships for Native American Students Acceptance period changes from year to year. Must be enrolled in your tribe; must be attending an accredited school full time both fall and spring semesters; must be seeking an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. Open to high school Seniors who will be entering college in the Fall.
AAIA Sequoyah Graduate Scholarship
Application Deadlines: June 07, Annually
The Association on American Indian Affairs offers Sequoyah Graduate Scholarships in the amount of $1,500 to students in any curriculum. Disbursement in the amount of $750 is made directly to the college fall and spring semesters pending satisfactory progress. Spring disbursement requires a copy of the fall semesters' grades and a spring semester class schedule.
Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program
Application Deadlines: July 01, Annually
The Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program provides postsecondary financial assistance to eligible Minnesota resident students who are of one-fourth or more American Indian ancestry and demonstrate financial need for an award. The award amount is based on need up to $4,000 per year for undergraduate students and up to $6,000 for graduate students
